Employment Opportunities
MAJOR DOMAIN AREAS OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Design: The mechanical engineers in this position would be in charge of creating either a mechanical, thermal, or HVAC system by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, materials engineering, computer-aided analysis, and optimization techniques, as well as by conducting research programs. In order to meet the needs of assigned projects, they evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products, design parts and components, generate CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, and create Bill of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing, testing, and assembly.
Program Outcomes (POs)
