About Department
The programme in Electronics & Tele. Communications Engineering aims at training diploma engineers to select, operate and maintain the communication facilities - and other related electronics system - which are today being put in place in the government, semi government and private sectors, besides guiding them in the self-employment sector. We endeavour to enable our students to make use of opportunities in the fields of electronic exchanges, optical fiber lines satellite links, microwave links, mobile links and other infrastructure, ranging to VLSI technologies.

Mr. Khan Niyaz Ahmed Abdul Mateen

Head of Department

From HOD Desk

A warm welcome to all the viewers.

Since the inception of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, it has been successfully performing the role of producing good-quality students contributing to various domains of the society. The department has experienced and dedicated faculty who have a strong commitment to education and impart a learning environment to the students. The department has well-equipped laboratories and facilities to carry out experiments, academic projects and facilitate deeper understanding of practical-based subjects.

The curriculum is such that it imparts technical knowledge to the students as well as inculcates in them a sense of contribution towards the society. Our students are continuously motivated to participate in various events, seminars and workshops conducted by the department to broaden their vision. We also encourage our students to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities in the department.

The main vision of the department is to impart quality technical and value education to prepare creative and innovative technocrats who can adapt to the rapidly changing technology and come up with better solutions to problems and challenges.
